Okey Music Day is a free to attend music day which is now in it's 3rd year. This year we will be organising music in multiple venues throughout the town soon to be announced. Keep an eye out here and on our Facebook Page for further information.

2pm The Dillyboys The Dillyboys exploded into the folk world in 2016 and in a short time have stunned countless audiences. Using their unique rambunctious fusion of trad./folk noir/cabaret and blues they have whipped as many into a whirling vortex of motion as they have reduced to tears with their stellar harmonies.

4pm Horce Divorse Horce Divorse is a punk rock band composed of four long-time mates who share a passion for music. Hailing from a small town in Devon, their sound is heavily influenced by the colourful characters and struggles within it, as well as their own experiences. With a focus on raw energy and honest lyrics, Horce Divorse is eager to hit the stage and share their music with the world. Their tight-knit chemistry and shared love of punk rock make for an unforgettable live experience, and they're always pushing themselves to write new and exciting material.

6pm The Electric Empire Band Electric Empire are the Ultimate Pop and Soul Party Band.
The band features some of the top musicians from the South West and plays the best pop and soul songs to get your guests on their feet and keep them there!
Featuring songs from Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Lizzo, Jess Glynne, Rihanna, Earth Wind & Fire, and many more.
Electric Empire not only play great songs, the band also prides itself on its fantastic arrangements and medleys, rolling seamlessly from one song to the next to keep the energy high and everyone having the best time.

8pm The Dartmoor Pixie Band The Dartmoor Pixie Band are an English country dance band (or Ceilidh Band) from the heart of Devon and are steeped in the musical and dance tradition of Dartmoor.
Their mix of Melodeon, Piano Accordion, Banjo, Drums and Bass produces a sound that is very much their own and will have you tapping your feet, or better still will have you up and dancing your socks off.

10pm Luna Gray Luna Gray are a four-piece alt-rock outfit based in Okehampton, taking influence from bands such as Tigers Jaw, RHCP, Pixies, The Menzingers, Fleetwood Mac and many, many more. Returning from a hiatus with a new line-up on the main stage of Chagstock Festival in 2021, Luna Gray have spent the last year moving from strength to strength, playing festivals around the South West (Shebfest, Revival Festival) and venues up and down the area.

1pm The Stereo Problems Up and coming 5 piece young band from Devon.

3pm Quattro Energy. Synergy and Fun. We are a 4 piece Rock/Funk Band playing tracks you love and tracks you had forgotten you love.Over 80 years live playing between us we love the atmosphere of gigging.

5pm The Red Dirt Band Red Dirt Band have established themselves as one Mid Devon’s finest purveyors of folk-rock. Their carefully curated blend of English, Irish and American songs and tunes always hits the spot. Last year saw their first appearance at Chagstock, and they look forward to a packed summer on the pub and festival circuit in 2023.

7pm The Urban Party Project The Urban Party Project are a 7-piece Soul, Motown, Pop & R&B band from Plymouth, Devon. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses hard-hitting accents and vocal harmonies with some never heard before arrangements and Medleys! This band will keep you on your toes all night.

10am Okehampton Well Being Singers The Okehampton Well Being Singers are a local singing group - come and support them as they open the days music programme.

11am Jim Causley More than simply a folk-singer, multi award winning singer-songwriter and musician Jim Causley is an all-round entertainer. Beautiful singing, moving ballads, hilarious ditties and everything in between. Drawing equally from traditional repertoire, modern songs as well as his own compositions and settings of poems by his relative, the celebrated Cornish poet Charles Causley.

High Noon Far From The Delta Far From the Delta are a Blues Rock band from Devon and Bristol, UK. Formed in 2010. A mixture of covers and original songs including versions of Chicago Blues, Delta Blues and Blues Rock from the UK 60's/70's blues invasion. We cover, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Cream, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Son House, Robert Johnson and many other similar artists.

3pm Mariners Away Based on the edge of Dartmoor, Mariners Away are singers of Sea Shanties and other Songs of the Sea.

5pm Busker Rhymes Tom Godfrey performs as Busker Rhymes at 5pm not to be missed!
